Renee Gasch is a freelance writer, educator, and organizer with fifteen years experience. Her commitment to social justice and the arts led her to documentary film. She has collaborated on countless impact campaigns for independent documentaries through her work with Impact Media Partners and the Independent Lens series at ITVS. Her specialties: writing culturally relevant engagement guides and managing outreach to public media partners and community organizations. Renee has an M.A. in Cultural Anthropology from the California Institute of Integral Studies and a B.A. in Journalism from UW-Madison. She lives in the Midwest where she enjoys being active in local politics and spending time with her husband, young daughter, and dog, Pasta Batman.
