For nearly 15 years, Cynthia has dedicated her career to communications and social justice. Specializing in storytelling, digital media, and nonprofit communications, Cynthia has worked with national civil rights nonprofits and socially conscious brands to launch dozens of campaigns and initiatives. Prior to joining IMP, Cynthia led communications for the Women’s Foundation of California, a leading public foundation with a flagship policy training program, and Equal Rights Advocates, a nonprofit public interest law firm and advocacy organization in San Francisco. Some of her proudest moments were chairing communications initiatives to pass key civil rights laws in California. As an independent communications consultant, Cynthia has focused her work on change-making brands and telling stories for the social good. Her clients include the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and the National Immigration Law Center. Previously, she was also a journalist at The Recorder in San Francisco. Skilled in digital marketing, organizing, and content strategy, Cynthia is an accomplished connector of communities. Cynthia lives in beautiful, complicated Los Angeles with her 15 year old chow/shepherd mix, Jersey.
